Blanche Mayo FNP- BC is a Nurse practitioner dedicated to providing quality and compassionate care.
Blanche obtained her associate degree in nursing from Montgomery college in 2012. She later obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Grand Canyon University in 2017, and her doctorate degree of Nursing Practice in 2024 at the University of Maryland School of Nursing Baltimore.
Her nursing career spans from working with adult populations suffering from acute and chronic conditions in medical surgical, and acute rehabilitation settings. Her experience involves dealing with neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injuries.
Blanche is an active member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Maryland (NPAM) and the American Association of nurse Practitioners (AANP) since 2023. As a member of NPAM, Blanche engages in promoting the high standards of health care delivered by nurse practitioners, represents the interests of nurse practitioners to local, state, and federal government entities.
Blanche’s dedication to provide quality care is evident by her successful implementation and dissemination of a quality improvement project in a hospital setting.
Outside of work Blanche enjoys spending time with her family, reading fantasy and science fiction novels, watching movies and traveling.
